This course is aimed at staff working in companies, the media and management related to road transport of goods and importing and exporting companies. It is especially aimed at the following departments: Management, Traffic, Commercial, Operations and Logistics.

Training is divided into 2 parts, a theoretical part and a case study. The theoretical part of the course covers the following issues: Basic operations and services in Short Sea Shipping, Study in comparative costs related to other transport alternatives, Documentation Procedures in Short Sea Shipping, Logistics and environmental benefits in Short Sea Shipping and Services offered by the ports and the ship operator. The final part of the course involves drawing up a case study. Trainees will develop a Short Sea Shipping service, calculating a budget and preparing the customs documentation.

GLAD project provides the option to reimburse 50% of the cost of the plane ticket to Barcelona with a maximum of 125 € per participant if costs are duly justified.
