Participant Profile

This course is aimed at staff working in companies, the media and management related to road transport of goods and importing and exporting companies. It is especially aimed at the following departments: Management, Traffic, Commercial, Operations and Logistics.

Course Content

The training is divided into two parts; a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part of the course covers the following issues: Terminal operations and loading; Maritime logistics; Inland ports - building the logistics network (description and services); E-maritime for the MOS "door-to-door" services - EDI Shortsea XML and other solutions, Track and Trace, and Customs Aspects; Cost models: direct and external costs; Environmental aspects on transport; legal framework for intermodal transport operations within the EU; and TEN-T Corridors and SSS: the present and the future. The practical part of the course involves drawing up a case study. Trainees will design a Short Sea Shipping service, calculate a budget and present an offer.

Duration: 4 days

Course Participants: 50

Price per participant: the price is 400€.

This course is aimed at postgraduate students studying logistics and international trade courses at universities in the EU and undergraduate and high school students taking courses in logistics or international trade. Agreements between 2E3S.eu and schools last for 3 years. For the Spanish Universities, the course counts as a subject and credits in the training plan.

Course Content

The training is divided into two parts; a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part of the course covers the following issues: Terminal operations and loading; Maritime logistics; Inland ports - building the logistics network (description and services); E-maritime for the MOS "door-to-door" services - EDI Shortsea XML and other solutions, Track and Trace, and Customs Aspects; Cost models: direct and external costs; Environmental aspects on transport; legal framework for intermodal transport operations within the EU; and TEN-T Corridors and SSS: the present and the future. Course Participants: 50 (minimum of 1 teacher per 25 students)

Attendance on the courses will count as a subject or as a part of a subject and will provide credits in the training plan

The participation on the AVTORITAS and the NUMINA courses will be recognised in terms of credits for different European Universities and Technical Schools.

Economic conditions

Price per participant: the price is 350€.

Accomodation: 2 students per cabin.

 

LIFE MOS - Numina

Participant profile

This course is aimed at higher vocational education taught in EU schools, with a specialisation as a senior technician in transport management, logistics and/or international trade. As for the AVTORITAS course, all the necessary actions will be undertaken to make sure that participation in the NUMINA course can count as a subject and credit in the training plan. The teachers from the school itself will teach some of the areas. To this end, they will first attend an AVTORITAS course.

The training is divided into two parts; a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part of the course covers the following issues: Terminal operations and loading; Maritime logistics; Inland ports - building the logistics network (description and services); E-maritime for the MOS "door-to-door" services - EDI Shortsea XML and other solutions, Track and Trace, and Customs Aspects; Cost models: direct and external costs; Environmental aspects on transport; legal framework for intermodal transport operations within the EU; and TEN-T Corridors and SSS: the present and the future. The practical part of the course involves drawing up a case study. Trainees will design a Short Sea Shipping service, calculate a budget and present an offer.

Course Participants: 45 (there will be at least one teacher per 15 students)

Attendance on the courses will count as a subject or as a part of a subject and will credit in the training plan

Participation in the AVTORITAS and NUMINA courses will be recognised in terms of credits for different European Universities and Technical Schools.
