“e-Navigation” partnership in Black Sea for safer and efficient short sea shipping

As a result of international conference titled “e-Navigation – e-Maritime  Black Sea 2015“ which took place in June 2015, the Shortsea Promotion Centre (SPC) of Bulgaria organized  and created a working group – network “e-Navigation-e-Maritime Black Sea Network” for the exchange of international and national information and documents  for the implementation of  the“e-Navigation” IMO/IALA  concept and “eMaritime” in the Black Sea region. The Network is open for all regional SPCs members.

More attention will be paid  to the Sea Traffic Management Validation Project, a  Motorways of the Sea project – Mona Lisa 2.0. The new 2015 VTIMS system of Bulgaria  – the most modern system in the Black Sea- will facilitate the organization and implementation of the  Motorways of the Sea  in the Black Sea. The Master plan of BSEC MoS  is  planned to be ready by the end of 2015.
