2017 starts at full speed for the Escola. Four training courses were organised in February for universities and high schools, gathering more than 170 students overall.
From 4th to 7th and from 18th to 21st , two MOST Management courses about intermodal logistics, motorways of the sea and short sea shipping services took place for international students: Belgium (PXL and Artevelde Hogeschool), Egypt (Arab Academy) and Spain (Abat Oliba University, Joan Brossa High School and Les Salines High School).
From 20th to 24th, in collaboration with Genoa University, the Escola gave way to the second edition of “Maritime Trade and Logistics: Theory and Applications” course for students of Economics and Engineering faculties. The Italian participants travelled to Barcelona to get trained in intermodal logistics and international trade and get a first-hand observation of port operations and the terminal facilities of the Catalan port.
All along February, a training called “International Trade and Intermodal Transport” exclusively designed for Mexican students from Tecnológico de Monterrey university. This training was also the result of a collaboration which the Escola started last year with the Mexican university. The Mexican students will have two 4-weeks courses per year.
