After the success of last year’s courses for French students and professionals, the Escola continues to place high importance in the organization of courses for the French market.
The weekend of the 29th of May 2015 the Escola will organize a WHITE MOS Management course for university students. Through this course the Escola will provide training in intermodal logistics, short sea shipping services and the motorways of the sea, complementing the educational programmes offered at the French institutions tailored to transport and logistics. The course will be in French and English, and taught by professors coming from the professional and academic sectors of France and Spain. Through practical on-board lectures and workshops the students will be able to explore real-life operations on a Ro-Pax vessel of Grimaldi Lines whilst journeying from Barcelona to Civitavecchia.
In autumn the Escola is currently planning a WHITE MOS Operations course aimed at professionals coming from the French transport and logistics sector. The 3-day course will be held on board of a Grandi Navi Veloci vessel on the journey between Barcelona and Genoa, and aside from offering lectures and workshops on SSS operations, EU transport policy and the motorways of the sea, will also become a hub for networking operations and efforts. The course will be carried out in French and English and will offer room for navigation, workshops, practical visits to the vessel, and debates. Additionally visits to the Port of Genoa and Port of Barcelona will be organized.
More information about the May course can be found on the 2E3S website: http://www.2e3s.eu/Programas_cursos/150530MM/150530MM.html. More information will follow on the autumn course, once the programme has been finalized.
